School to School Support / Progression

School to School Support

We recognise the important role of middle and senior leaders in supporting their peers in other schools. We can provide schools in need of support with a task force of leaders, teachers and school practitioners, experts in their respective fields and qualified to support others to improve teaching, learning and outcomes.

We can ensure that the best leaders are working to improve the quality of teaching and leadership where it is most needed. This includes deciding how to use the services of system leaders to provide support to other schools, such as:

  • middle and senior leaders working as specialist leaders of education (SLEs)
  • headteachers working as local and national leaders of education (LLEs & NLEs)
  • chairs of governors working as national leaders of governance (NLGs)

Please contact us to discuss how we might help you and your school.

Contextual Support for School Improvement

Linwood TSA recognises the importance of working with schools as part of a programme of contextual, proactive pathways of support We recognise it is better to support school staff early, across a range of school improvement issues rather than react solely to outcomes data.

To this end we have a Career Development Framework which guides CPD and succession planning from NQT througb to CEO.

We can provide targeted support for school improvement through working with SENCOs, especially in their role in leading their school's response to the new SEND Code of Practice ( in particular leading on Quality First Teaching and generating their SEN Information Report ) and for SENCOs/SLTs to implement the revised new SEND reforms.
